The Program feature: The USDA climate-smart conservation program is a set of pilot projects geared towards farmers as an incentive to implement climate-smart conservation best-in-class standards on working lands.  


The benefit to the land: Each pilot project constitutes a quantitative (quantity) and qualification method to monitor the carbon and greenhouse gas benefits associated with those practices. 


The benefit to the landowner:  This benefit adds value to landowners by increasing yield production, results in passive income.  


The Program feature: The Program feature: The SMART practices will expand commodities market by creating an advantage towards greenhouse gas while creating benefits of climate-smart commodity production. 


The benefit to the land and the farmer: Provide direct, meaningful benefits to production agriculture, including for small and underserved producers.

The Program feature: This land infrastructure maybe subject to a co-share program between USDA and the landowner; however, both landowner and the farmer gains outweigh the of co-cost of the irrigation system.

The Program feature: The Food Security program provide community supply chain to the Bulloch food system and creates a LOCAL B2B distribution supply chain.

The Program feature: Solar Farm harvesting. 

The benefit to the farmer: A line service product

The benefit to the landowner: This benefit adds value to landowner's ROI with passive income. This landowner receives credits from the servicing power energy entity. 


(Note: The closest energy company that offers solar contracts for Bulloch county is Georgia Power in Savannah, Georgia (verified in 2022, up for reverification in 2023 ).

The benefit to the farmer: A line source product. 

The benefit to the landowner: Looking to have a wind turbine farm, we can connect you to certified resources. Wind turbines are a renewable resource and considered as a conservation asset to landowners and considered as part of the renewable collection of natural resources. We can connect you to certified talent for this farm type. 


(Note: Wind turbines contracts for Bulloch county is not available for small farm owners (verified in 2022, up for reverification in 2023 ).
